Terms of Service

This terms of service will be between the artist (Ian) and the commissioner.
By commissioning the artist for any service, you hereby agree to the terms of service below.1. Payment
- International payment via PayPal, Stripe or Wise only (USD).
- Malaysian payment via bank-in (RM), TNG, PayPal, Stripe or Wise (USD).
- Fund transfer fee charges is included in the price already.
- Only send payment when you are told to, not when the commission is being accepted.
- Please send payment within 48 hours when requested or else the commission will be automatically cancelled. Let me know if you need more time.2. Cancelling/ Refunding policy
- The commissioner has the right to cancel the commission if an invoice has not been sent by the artist to the commissioner.
- The artist has the right to reject commission.
- After the payment is received, refund from the artist is not demandable by the commissioner under any circumstances, unless the artist cancelled the commission. Once the work has been started, full refund will not be allowed. If the artist cancelled the commission, only some portion of the payment will be refunded based on the current stage of the commission work.3. Copyright
For non-commercial commission:
- Non-commercial commission is strictly for personal use only.
(“Personal use” refers to usage with no commercial or promotional intent.)
-The client is allowed unlimited reproduction and distribution for non-commercial purposes (e.g. free sharing with others, physical prints, or digital distribution for personal exchange), but not for profit or marketing.
- The commissioner must give credit to the artist when in use.
- The artist has the right to use the commission work in any way, as the artist is the creator of the artwork. The artist is free to use the commission in self-promotion and portfolio. When using, the artist will not misrepresent the original designs.For commercial commission:
-Full Buyout is required for commercial commission. (“Commercial use” includes anything with promotional intent, such as free handouts at events used to advertise products or attract customers.)
-The artist retains the right to be credited, as well as publishing and display rights (e.g. sharing watermarked images publicly, including the work in portfolios, or using it for non-commercial self-promotion). When using, the artist will not misrepresent the original design.
All other rights—including financial, editing, usage, reproduction, and distribution rights—belong to the client.4. Non-Disclosure Agreement
